RSBQ is a voluntary private framework, not a public authority.
RSBQ accreditation is a private decision made by the Québec Building Health Network for one company, defined scope and validity period. It does not replace any law, licence, authorization, insurance, third-party certification or laboratory analysis required for the work.
The file was assessed against RSBQ controls applicable to the displayed scope.
The number, holder, scope, dates and status can be checked in the RSBQ registry.
The decision may have limitations and may be monitored, suspended, expired or revoked.
Applicable external credentials must be confirmed with their own issuer.
What RSBQ status does not mean
No approval by the Government of Canada or the Government of Québec.
No licence issued by the RBQ, CNESST or another public authority.
No Standards Council of Canada accreditation unless supported by separate public evidence.
No BNQ, IICRC, ASHRAE, IRSST or Health Canada certification, membership or affiliation.
No guarantee of results, absence of contaminants or compliance of all future work.
RSBQ · DÉFINITION
Why the word “accreditation” is used
On this website, “RSBQ accreditation” refers exclusively to the private status granted under the RSBQ program. It does not claim that RSBQ is accredited as a certification body by the Standards Council of Canada or another authority. Every external mark and credential remains the property of its issuer and is claimed only with evidence and authorization.

Compliance safeguards built into the website
01
Limited claims
Each status is tied to one company, scope and period; no external recognition is inferred.

Exact registry
No public directory: only a complete number or QR link opens the matching record.
03
Live status
Expiry, suspension and revocation must change the public result and badge use.
04
References without affiliation
Official sources explain controls; citation is not approval or partnership.
05
Privacy
Necessary collection, express consent, limited sharing, withdrawal rights and planned destruction.
06
Neutral matching
The public service is free, with no paid placement, objective criteria and fair rotation.

These links let readers verify public rules directly. RSBQ does not reproduce them as its own work and claims no affiliation with their issuers.

Actual compliance depends on RSBQ’s legal structure, contracts, audit practices, retained evidence, communications and each mandate.
